VACCINE REQUIREMENT FOR CAREGIVERS IN FACILITIES – Executive Order 13B from Lt. Governor Bysiewicz
Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz signed Executive Order 13B on Friday, August 6 requiring staff in long-term care facilities (as well as anyone coming into a facility from an outside agency to care for a resident) to receive at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine no later than September 7, 2021.
This executive order also applies to any caregiver of a Home Care Agency, such as Companions & Homemakers, that is providing care to a client in a long-term care facility (such as nursing homes and assisted living facilities).
