Companions & Homemakers, Connecticut’s leading home care agency, hosted the Grand Opening of its new Stratford office on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.
Stratford Mayor Laura R. Hoydick, local elected officials, business leaders, caregivers and individuals interested in learning more about services and job opportunities offered by Companions & Homemakers were on hand for the Grand Opening.
“We are proud to welcome Companions and Homemakers here to Stratford,” said Mayor Laura R. Hoydick. “The important work they do for our region, ensuring in-home care is available to elder residents that want to age in place with their families, has really become a critical component of our making happier families in our community. We look forward to working with them as they open their new facility here in Stratford to ensure their mission is successful.”
Companions and Homemakers’ Stratford location provides hourly home care and live-home care services to the following towns: Bridgeport, Darien, Easton, Greenwich, Monroe, New Canaan, Norwalk, Redding, Ridgefield, Shelton, Stamford, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston, Westport, and Wilton. The Stratford location is open on Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. It is the second new location to open this year in Fairfield County; a Danbury location opened in January.
“We are very pleased to be joining the Stratford business community, and we appreciate the very warm welcome we have received,” said Bill Geiger, chief operating officer of Companions & Homemakers. “We look forward to expanding our presence in Stratford and the region, working closely with families, and assisting individuals who would prefer to stay at home but need some assistance to do so.”
Companions & Homemakers is Connecticut’s most trusted home care agency, having earned that reputation by providing quality in-home care to thousands of older residents in communities all across the state since the business was founded in Connecticut nearly three decades ago, in 1990. The Stratford office joins Companions & Homemakers’ offices in Avon, Berlin, Clinton, Enfield, Farmington, Glastonbury, Hamden, Litchfield, Middlebury, and Norwich.
